Asda has unveiled a new marketing campaign through which consumers can access free digital copies of the top 100 consumer magazines, if they sign up for its new online sales partnership.
The retailer has agreed a deal with John Menzies Digital to launch a service that allows customers to download digital versions of popular magazines straight to their computer.
The launch of the service, which will be promoted across Asda.com, will be supported by an introductory offer to look at titles like Nuts, Heat and Stuff for free, while the first 10,000 consumers to sign up will receive 100 free downloads.
Sarah Clegg, managing director of John Menzies Digital, said: "A partnership with a household name such as Asda is a perfect platform for us to take our technology to a mainstream UK audience."
Last week, the low-cost supermarket unveiled its Christmas ad campaign, which shifted focus away from celebrities to ordinary people.
